Five-time LPGA Tour winner Michelle Wie (West) is slated to cover the Players Championship March 9-15, as a contributing analyst for Golf Central Live.  Their team includes among other notables, Notah Begay, David Duval, and Brandel Chamblee.

Wie’s golfing career began at a very early age of 10 when she qualified for a USGA amateur championship at 10; won the U.S. Amateur Public Links shortly thereafter, and then turned professional at age 15.  In 2009, the Hawaiian-born Korean American beat out a number of top-ranked lady pros to win the Lorena Ochoa Invitational, followed by a second win at the 2010 Canadian Women’s Open. Four years later, Wie posted her third win at the LPGA Lotte Championship. Number four (and first major) came at the U.S. Women’s Open, also in 2014.

It is expected that Wie’s contribution and coverage for CBS Sports multimedia will also include the Masters Tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club in April.
