Harold Varner III shoots 1-under 69 in round four of the Quicken Loans National

Washington, D.C, Sunday July 1, 2018 – In his final round at the Quicken Loans National, Harold Varner III hit 8 of 14 fairways and 11 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 2 under for the tournament. Varner III finished his day tied for 41st at 2 under; Francesco Molinari is in 1st at 21 under; Ryan Armour is in 2nd at 13 under; and Sung Kang is in 3rd at 12 under.

On the par-5 second, Varner III’s approach shot set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Varner III to 1 under for the round.

On the par-par-4 fourth, Varner III’s 166 yard approach to 5 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Varner III to 2 under for the round.

At the 365-yard par-4 fifth, Varner III got on in 2 and missed his par putt from 8 feet, finishing with a 3-putt bogey. This moved Varner III to 1 under for the round.

After a 289 yard drive on the 560-yard par-5 10th, Varner III chipped his fourth shot to 8 feet, which he rolled for two-putt bogey on the hole. This moved Varner III to even-par for the round.

After a drive to the right side of the fairway on the 412-yard par-4 16th hole, Varner III had a 137 yard approach shot, setting himself up for the birdie. This moved Varner III to 1 under for the round.
