Harold Varner III nabed spot at British Open

  Harold Varner III (born August 15, 1990) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Despite his smaller stature, Varner is one of the longest drivers of the golf ball on tour. I have recently learned that I have been selected along with ten other outstanding individuals to be inducted into the African American Golf Hall of Fame. The Awards Celebration and the 8th Annual African American Collegiate & Golfers Hall of Fame Celebration will take place in May 2018. Words, even from this writer, cannot describe the humility and honor I feel at this moment in my life.
